Setting up Passkeys adds an extra layer of security to your account and makes logging in faster and more convenient. Passkeys are a passwordless, phishing-resistant verification method that can be used on supported devices (such as those with Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello).

• You must be logged into your account to manage verification methods.

• You must always have at least one verification method active (Passkey, authenticator app, SMS, or security key).

• Passkeys are only available on supported devices and browsers. If you do not see the Passkey option, use an authenticator app or security key instead.

To set up a Passkey under user settings, follow these steps:

1. Log into your OFX account.

2. Navigate to User Setup:

   • Go to Setup → User.

     

3. Manage your verification methods:

   • Select Manage passkeys under Account security section.

     

   • If you do not see the Passkey option, your device or browser may not support it. In this case, use an authenticator app or security key.

4. Add a Passkey:

   • Follow the on-screen prompts to register a new Passkey. This may involve using your device’s biometric authentication (such as Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello) or another supported method.

   • Click on Setup.

     

   • Authenticate with your existing verification method.

     

   • Confirm the location of where your Passkey will be saved. Click Continue to save in current location. Alternatively, click Change to change it.

     

   • If you select to change, you will be prompted with more options to save your passkey. Select one and continue.

     

   • For phone or tablet, scan using QR code.

     

5. Confirmation:

   • Once set up, your Passkey will be listed as an active verification method.

     

   • You can now use your Passkey the next time you log in.

What happens next:

• Your changes are saved immediately.

• You can use your Passkey for secure, passwordless login on supported devices.

• You must always have at least one verification method active. If you wish to remove another method, ensure you have at least one remaining.
