User roles are predefined categories assigned to users based on their responsibilities.

Below are a list of all user roles in the OFX platform

Finance Manager 
Finance manager  can view all transactions and create new ones subject to your approval policies. They have most permissions by default except editing approval policies and billing. 



Preparer 
Preparers can upload and process bills, but not make any payments.


Payer
Payers can create payments, recipients and conversions, subject to your approval policy



Approver 
Approvers can be added to approval policies and see only the items they're approving.



Employee 
Employees can spend on their card, upload receipts and bills, and view only their own activity.



Viewer 
Viewers can see all transactions and balances and download statements.


Custom
Edit specific permissions to create a bespoke role.
