InformationDetailsWhen you upload a receipt or invoice to create an expense in OFX, the platform uses AI and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to automatically scan and populate key fields such as description, location, expense category, and tax rate. This feature is designed to streamline expense entry and reduce manual data entry errors. There is an option within the platform to customise or restrict which fields are auto-filled by AI during the expense capture process.Important prerequisites:You must have permission to access the Expenses section.If you are submitting a reimbursement, the beneficiary must already be set up in your account.Next Steps:To review and adjust auto-filled fields during expense capture:Log into your account.Navigate to the Setup → Account tab in the sidebar menu.Click on Document analyser settings under “Document analyser settings” section.Toggle Auto-fill with AI options.Select which fields you would like the system to automatically scan and fill in available fields (such as expense category, tax rate, description, department, and location).Click Save to save the options.Next time when you create an expense, the above fields that have been turned on will be auto-populated.Why is this important:AI-powered auto-fill helps save time and reduces manual errors during expense entry.
