4. A reference number or message indicating the purpose of the payment.
5. Any applicable fees deducted from the total amount.

What the recipient sees

It is important to note that the recipient may not see the exact details you do. Depending on the payment rail and counterparty, the reference could be truncated and/or the sender name shown is not the OFX customer. These limitations are encountered when paying through OFX Direct which uses local payment rails and can generally be remediated by using SWIFT/wire.
