InformationDetailsWhen registering or onboarding with OFX, you may be required to upload documents to verify your identity, business details, and your controller and shareholders identity. This process ensures your account is set up securely and in compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC/KYB) obligations.Pre-requisites:Before you begin, ensure you have the following ready or at least easily accessible:Valid Proof of Identity (POI) document (e.g., passport, national ID card, or driver’s licence). For the individuals registered with the company e.g. registering user, controllers and shareholdersProof of Address (POA) document (e.g., utility bill, bank statement, government letter, tenancy agreement).Supporting business documents if registering a business (e.g., registration certificate, incorporation documents, partnership agreement, trust deed, business licence, tax registration, etc.).A mobile device (for ID verification steps that require camera and microphone access).Refer to What document types are accepted for verification? for additional information.Next Steps:With reference to How do I register a new company in OFX after signing up? and to upload documents during onboarding, follow these steps:Navigate to the Supporting document page:After completing the online ID verification, as you progress through the onboarding flow, you will be prompted to upload supporting documents.Upload your documents:There will be some differences based on country/region applied to the upload document page e.g. questions on 23% ownership of Trust.When ready to upload, browse / select files. Note you can upload one file at a time.The uploaded files will be shown on the page with an option to view them. Ensure all images are clear, complete, and not cropped or blurry.Be careful to not click on Go to OFX button if you are not done uploading. Once clicked will take you to the NCP dashboard and will deem uploading document as completed.
