There are multiple ways to create a payment 

• Create a manual payment 

• Create a payment from a bill 

• Create a payment from Xero

How to create a manual payment. 

1. Select Payments from the left sidebar menu

2. Click + Create payment on the top right 

3. Select a Saved recipient from the dropdown menu or create a new recipient, Click Next to continue to the payment form

4. Complete all fields on the payment form: payment method, pay date, reference, payment reason, and the amount to be paid.
         

       5. Click Next

       6. Submit for the approval

Please note: If there are no payment approval policies, the payment will automatically be updated to Scheduled. 

How to create a payment from a Bill

How to Create a Bill

1. Select Bills from the left sidebar menu

2. Click Awaiting payment status

   

    
   
   

3. Complete and update the Planned payment date and Funding currency, and Pay from method using the dropdown menus. You can also bulk update these fields. 
   

   

    
   
   

4. Select any bill to open or multiple bills from the dashboard for payment 
   

   

    

5. Click Review and pay 

Please note: For any bills submitted for payment, the planned payment date will become the scheduled pay date in Payments. 

How to create a payment from Xero

1. Upload documents to Xero to create a bill. 

2. Publish unpaid invoices as Bills to ‘Awaiting payments’. 

3. In ‘Awaiting Payment’, we will sync open bills from Xero. Bills > Awaiting Payment. 

4. The invoice/s will then appear in Awaiting payment in the Bills tab.
