The Xero sync error tab tracks your transaction synchronization requests with Xero. Use this page to manage sync issues related to bills, payments, conversions, and expenses. Sync issues are categorized into three tabs.

Failed Sync: Lists sync requests with Xero that failed, including failure reasons provided by Xero.

Pending Sync: Syncs trigger automatically and appear here until they succeed or fail. If items remain over an hour, contact our Client Service team at business@ofx.com.

Archived: Contains failed syncs you chose to archive. These cannot be unarchived.

What to do for Failed Sync Items

For each item in the Failed tab, verify the failure by checking the corresponding Xero entry. Then review the failure reason in the table or source slider, and update accordingly.

Actions for Failed syncs include:

• Resolve the Failed Sync Item in Xero and resync from OFX.

• Resolve the issue in Xero and archive the error in OFX instead of resyncing.

• Identify and update dependencies causing the sync to fail before retrying in OFX.

*Note: Xero sync errors before 09/10/2024 are not included in the list.
