Australian clients can schedule a direct debit payment through the OFX platform, allowing funds to be automatically withdrawn from your nominated bank account to fund your transactions.

When making a payment on OFX, select Direct Debit as your funding option and enter your bank account details. You must schedule the direct debit at least three business days in advance. The direct debit will be processed three business days before the scheduled payment date. Only one bank account can be connected for direct debits at any time. If this is your first time adding a direct debit account, you will need to complete a verification process involving a small deduction (less than $1 AUD) from your bank account, which you confirm to finalize setup. Scheduled direct debits appear under the Scheduled Direct Debits tab for your review.

Next Steps:

1. Log into your OFX account. 

2. Navigate to the "Accounts", in the sidebar menu

3. Select "Deposit funds" under "Account actions".

3. Select "Direct debit" tab.

4. Enter the date you would like the direct debit to occur to fund your account.

5. Provide amount and click on "Go to confirmation".

6. After confirmation the scheduled direct debit transaction will appear in the "Direct Debit Activity" tab.
