The onboarding process for new clients involves several critical steps to ensure compliance and proper account setup. Initially, clients register on the platform, which automatically creates a case in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) assigned to the Onboarding team. The team reviews the client’s information and Know Your Customer (KYC) details to verify accuracy and completeness. Verification includes checks on the business, Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), and risk assessment through open source searches and identity verification tools. If additional information or documents are required, the Onboarding Specialist contacts the client via phone or email to request these. Once all documentation is reviewed and approved by the Compliance Due Diligence Team Lead (CDD TL), the Onboarding Specialist activates the client’s account, updates the status in CRM, and sends an activation email.
